Thanks for dropping by. Pull up a wee seat and help yourself to a cuppa and a ginger snap while I tell you who you’re visiting.
I’m a Scottish writer living in South Ayrshire with my husband and wee rescue dug Dot Cotton. No, I don’t watch Eastenders but as with everything to do with a writer, there’s a story there.
I write in a variety of genres but most of my fiction is dark. I like to make the reader shift in their seat and check they locked their doors and windows. I love an unreliable narrator and an ambiguous ending so if you prefer your stories all tied up with a clear outcome, I might not be the writer for you. You might still enjoy some of the daftness I write about on my blog.
I like to be creative. Chronic pain, fibromyalgia, and arthritis have put paid to most of my favourite hobbies – crochet, sewing doll clothes by hand, embroidery, knitting – but I read and enjoy watching films. It passes the time.
Since you’re here, why not have a rummage through my stories and poetry and see if there’s something you like? You never know, you might be darker than you think…
Cheerio!
